Meet the passionate employees of Sunrise Bookkeeping, Inc.
After being a stay at home mom for over 10 years, I found that I was raising two young men, dealing with a nasty divorce and had to get a job. The opportunity to start a business fell into my lap. I never dreamed I would someday own a business. It hasn’t been easy but with a lot of faith and determination, I have managed to run Sunrise Bookkeeping for the past 14 years.
I have been in a wonderful relationship for the past 5 years with John, have two grown sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law and one amazing grandson. I have an associate’s degree from Indiana University South Bend and have worked in different types of accounting for over 40 years. Over the years of working with so many businesses, I have a diverse knowledge of bookkeeping needs for a wide variety of businesses.
My door has always been open to my clients any time they need to brainstorm or get direction about ideas they might have about running their businesses.
I am married to my best friend Charlene. We have two great children; a boy and a girl. I received an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Indiana University South Bend and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University East. I have been working in the accounting field for over 15 years. In my free time, I coach my son's baseball team and my daughter's softball team which brings me so much joy. I also like to bowl and golf.
I graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Ivy Tech. I am currently in the process of receiving my Bachelor’s. I’ve been working in this field for over five years. In my personal time I enjoy bowling on an adult league and a youth-adult with my son. I participate in two softball leagues. We regularly take hiking/camping trips to Turkey Run and Shades State Park.
